It's almost game time!!! I'm looking forward to the fun time of playing sports together and the good times of getting to know each other as the weeks progress.
We're all slated to play the sport you chose as your first preference and everyone is on, it's my hope, fair teams.
Competition is expected, but please don't over do it. There's such thing as good competition and bad competition. Good competition is our goal and building camaraderie through it is another. You will be with your team for the entire duration of IM's. Please get to know each other. Learn each other's strengths and weaknesses and develop your team based on what you got.
The NBA says, "There can only be one," but we say, "There can only be fun."
Some things you should know
- Bring your own filled water bottle. We will provide a few coolers of water but you can refill using the water fountain.
- $10 IM Fee. Please give it to your captain when you find out who they are.
- cash or checks made to GFC
- Park either in the parking lots, on Grand St, Shoreline, or Otis.
- Please park in the marked areas
- Bring your own sunblock if you need it. Sun will be still out while we play
- First Aid provided
- Game time will start promptly at 6:30. Please arrive early around 6 if you can to stretch and warmup. Stretching and warming up is very important.
- All games are self-reffed. Please be fair and understanding. Let things go if you there is a disagreement and do it with a smile! :)
